Welcome to Designer Dog Miniatures! My name is Lucy Francis and I create custom pets, scale miniature dog reproductions. The miniature dog sculptures you will see on my site are all one-of-a-kind dog portraits. Each miniature dog sculpture has great care given to every detail to make an exact pet portrait - giving you your dog forever in a miniature representation. My miniature dogs (and cats) are constructed using the finest alpaca, cashmere, silk and leather for an absolutely realistic appearance. The miniature dogs are soft with some flexibility - never breaking and happy to get in any pose. My unusual technique acquired over many years allows me to offer to you a reality in a miniature sculpture you will find hard to believe. My animals are soft sculptures not needle felted. I never use pastels or paint every piece is 100% natural fiber for fur and accents. Always German glass eyes for realistic expression. I make many other animal sculptures as well.
